Who will receive the Trend Vision One promotion for network?

• Customers with valid Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) license which is neither expired nor currently in grace period (including full or trial type).
• Customers with DDI version 5.7 GM or higher versions.
• Customers who already got Complimentary XDR licenses are not eligible to get Complimentary Credits
• Customers who already have an XDR/Trend Vision One trial license are not eligible.
• Customers who have already purchased one or more XDR/Trend Vision One licenses are not eligible at this time.
• Customers whose DDI registering Deep Discovery Directory (DDD) are not eligible at this time.

What will I see in Deep Discovery Inspector?

1. In the Promotion notification bar, on the top right part of the page, click More Details.

2. After clicking on More Details, a pop-up notification window appears.

How do I proceed with the onboarding process?

1. Click on [Activate your XDR capabilities now] button and it will redirect you to the Trend Vision One Onboarding Portal.

2. The Trend Vision One portal will guide users on how to create a Trend Micro account to experience Trend Vision One.

   • If customers have not yet created a Trend Micro™ account, they should register for a Trend Micro account.

      

     

   • If customers already have a Trend Micro™ account, click on the Already have a Trend Micro Account link to Sign-in directly.

3. Once users log in to the Trend Vision One onboarding portal, it will redirect to Network Inventory App and the service provision process starts (provision usually cost 3-5 minutes).

   

4. Once the provision is completed, follow the instructions and click [Go] to connect to network sensor (DDI instance).

   The following image shows the instructions while interacting with network sensor (DDI instance) version 5.7 SP3 or above which supports auto registration.

   

   Click Continue from network sensor (DDI instance) to confirm the registration.

   

    

   Take note that the instructions may slightly vary when connecting with different versions of network sensor (DDI instance).

   • If your appliance is version 5.7 Service Pack 3 and above, specify the IP address or FQDN and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the appliance to the Network Inventory app.
   • If your appliance is version 5.7 / 5.7 Service Pack 1 / 5.7 Service Pack 2, copy the registration token and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the appliance to the Network Inventory app.

    

5. Once network sensor (DDI) is successfully registered to Trend Vision One, the promotion notification bar will prompt a different message.

   Users will be redirected to the Trend Vision One log-in page and start to experience the XDR Network capabilities after clicking Open Console.

If I would like to use Trend Vision One on more DDI Instances or higher network bandwidth, how do I migrate to paid license?

1. You need to purchase Trend Vision One Credits.
2. Once this license is activated from CLP, you can enable more network sensors through the Network Inventory App on the Trend Vision One portal.

How do I activate the Trend Vision One license when I buy through Trend Vision One Credits?

1. Upon purchasing Trend Vision One credits, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation URL.
2. You will be redirected to the Trend Micro Activation Service and will require to sign in or create a Trend Micro account.
3. Once signed in, you will see the summary of all your purchased credits.
4. After the license agreement is accepted, wait for the "Activation Successful" message to appear.
5. You will be taken directly to the Trend Vision One console, where you can enable the sensors/apps as desired.
