The DSA service is unable to start causing the agent to not function. During installation or on /var/log/messages, you may see the following entries:
ds_agent[21353]: /lib/lsb/init-functions: line 8: /etc/rc.status: No such file or directory
ds_agent[21353]: Starting ds_agent: /lib/lsb/init-functions: line 74: /sbin/start-stop-daemon: No such file or directory
Upon checking the system directory /etc/, the file rc.status is missing.
