Trend Micro Email Security scans ALL file types using the Trend Micro Virus Scan API (VSAPI) and Advanced Threat Scan Engine (ATSE) patterns.
 

Trend Micro Email Security allows the user to create a policy to block specific file types if needed.
 

This can be based on the file name or extension, MIME content type or true file type or add a specific type not on the list
