- Every Trend Vision One user is able to see the banner.
- Go to Console Settings to trigger the update when the time is right.
- You can disable the banner and go to Console Settings to trigger the update once it is ready.
- All users can see details and make decisions, but only the primary account user (root user) can perform updates.
Root User:Other Users:
- Evaluate "System Update Notice" and then click I understand how the update will affect my system and agree to start the process to start update.
- Update Step 1: Change log in user account to Email format.
- Update Step 2: Validate new account email.
- Update Step 3: Update password.
- Use the new email account to log in to Trend Vision One.
- When the update is completed, you will start to experience the new foundation-based Trend Vision One.
- Start with Endpoint Inventory.
Evaluate "platform capabilities" and then click Go to Product Instance.
- Under Product Instance, there will be a prompt next to SaaS Endpoint Instance. Click on this instance name to start the update.
- Evaluate the Trend Micro Agreement, and click I Agree to Update. Update the instance to Trend Vision One Endpoint Security. All endpoints will be updated to Trend Vision One Endpoint Security endpoints).
- Evaluate the System Update Notice and click I understand how the update will affect my system and agree to start the process to start the update.
- System will tell you the data is updating and may take some time to complete. You can go to Product Instance to further check.
- Trend Micro support customers to move partial endpoints to new Trend Vision One Endpoint Security instance (for POC or VLE or PCI cases).
