To manually uninstall the ECF from a single OSCE client, do either of the following:

Change the ECF service mode:

  1. Open the Windows Services console (services.msc).
  2. Change the Startup type of the OfficeScanNT Firewall service to "Disabled". This change will remove the Firewall tab from the client console.
  3. Restart the client machine.

Uninstall the CFW driver:

  1. Right-click My Network Places and click Properties.
  2. Right-click Local Area Connection and click Properties.
  3. On the General tab, select Trend Micro Common Firewall Driver and click Uninstall.
 
Uninstalling the CFW driver will exclude the client from subsequent Outbreak Prevention Policy deployments that include port blocking.
