After applying ServerProtect for Storage 6.0 Patch 1, if you choose to show “Virus Scan Engine DLL” in the Management Console, it will write a “c” value in admin.ini, and this value is not supported by previous builds.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Close Management Console.
  2. Open .\SProtect\admin.ini.
  3. Check the value of following key:

    [ADMINServer]
    ServerHeaderDisplay=

    If the value contains the character ‘c’, delete the character ‘c’.

  4. Save admin.ini and re-open the Management Console.
