To remove the TMCM agent from ServerProtect:

 
Make sure that there is only one TMCM Agent and there are no other Trend Products installed on the server.
  1. Stop EntityMain.exe by stopping the TMI service.
  2. Delete the following registry keys:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TrendMicro\TrendMicro Control Manager Agent\SPNT
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TrendMicro\OpptrustPort
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\TrendMicro Control Manager Agent for SPNT (if existing)
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\TMI
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ {71925949-178A-4929-B68A-C8E057D52B34}
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\TMI
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TrendMicro Infrastructure
     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  3. Delete the ..\Program Files\Trend\Common\TMI folder and its subcontents.
  4. Delete the ..\Program Files\Trend\Common\TMI folder and its subcontents.

  5. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
  1. Locate the Trend\Common\tmi\tmi.cfg file.
  2. Open the tmi.cfg file and remove entries related to SPNT under the following parameters:
    • ProductRegistered
    • ProductInfo
  3. Delete the following registry keys:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TrendMicro\TrendMicro Control Manager Agent\SPNT
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\TrendMicro\OpptrustPort
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\TrendMicro Control Manager Agent for SPNT (if existing)
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ {71925949-178A-4929-B68A-C8E057D52B34}
