Do the following:
  1. Stop the ServerProtect for NT v.5.8 (IS) services.
  2. Go to the ServerProtect Information Server (IS) ..\Trend\SProtect folder.
  3. Copy the latest DCS components on the ActiveUpdate server. The following are required to enable Enhanced GeneriClean:
    • Damage cleanup engine (DCE) 5.32 or above (tsc.exe)
    • Damage cleanup pattern (DCT) 948 or above (tsc.ptn)
    • tsc.ini (to download the configuration)
  4. Extract the hot fix for DCS components for deployment.
  5. Make sure that the Hotfix folder exists on the Information Server. The folder’s structure should be:
    C:\Program Files\Trend\SProtect\HotFix\nt\32bit\tsc.ini
    C:\Program Files\Trend\SProtect\HotFix\nt\64bit\tsc.ini
    C:\Program Files\Trend\SProtect\HotFix\hotfix.ini
  6. The Hotfix.ini file should contain the following:
    [common]
    server=
    read=0

    [nt]
    path=nt

    [NW]
    path=NW
    [NWProduct]
    version=1216
    Note: The "read=0" parameter will be change to "read=1" in the hotfix.ini, when the hot fix flow is triggered.
