Do the following:
On the OfficeScan Server
- Download the Bandage Pattern Release (BPR) from the download site provided to you by Trend Micro Technical Support.
- Extract the pattern file (icrc$oth.xxx) to the PCCSRV folder.
Note: xxx = pattern file version
On the OfficeScan Client
- Download the Bandage Pattern Release (BPR) from the download site provided to you by Trend Micro Technical Support.
Note: Before doing the procedure below, you need to disable the "Protect OfficeScan client Services" option in the OfficeScan management console. Go to Networked Computers > Global Client Settings > Client Self-Protection and then disable the option.
Otherwise, proceed to step 5 below and then UNLOAD and RELOAD the OfficeScan client.
- Log on to the workstation as an administrator.
- Go to Control Manager > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Stop the following services:
- OfficeScanNT Listener
- OfficeScanNt RealTime Scan
- Extract the pattern file (icrc$oth.xxx, where xxx is the pattern file number) to the OfficeScan home directory. By default, this is OfficeScan Client.
- Restart the following services:
- OfficeScanNT Listener
- OfficeScanNt RealTime Scan
