The PtnDP log files are created everytime the OfficeScan server downloads a virus pattern and deploys it to the clients. Each log will record the notification and the result during a virus pattern deployment using the following status information:

  • #BEGIN_Notfiy
  • #OK_Notfiy
  • #OK_Update
  • #FAIL_Notfiy

Below is an example of a log made when the client receives the server notification and completes the update. After the client completes the update, it will send a notification to the OfficeScan server. The server then writes the result to the PtnDPxxxxxx.log and into the Officescan database.
