To resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  2. Go to the following registry keys:
    • For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\AoS\
      OSCE_Addon_Service_CompList_Version
    • For 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\Aos
      OSCE_Addon_Service_CompList_Version
  3. Reset the value to "1.0.1000".
  4. Delete the plug-in program registry key.

    Example:
    For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\AoS\OSCE_ADDON_xxxx
    For 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\Aos\ OSCE_ADDON_xxxx

  5. Restart the Worry-Free Business Security Plug-in Manager service.
  6. Download and install the Plug-in Manager.
  7. Uninstall the Plug-in Manager.
