To resolve the issue:
- Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe). Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
- Go to the following registry keys:
- For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\AoS\
OSCE_Addon_Service_CompList_Version - For 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\Aos
OSCE_Addon_Service_CompList_Version
- For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\AoS\
- Reset the value to "1.0.1000".
- Delete the plug-in program registry key.
Example:
For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\AoS\OSCE_ADDON_xxxx
For 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\Aos\ OSCE_ADDON_xxxx - Restart the Worry-Free Business Security Plug-in Manager service.
- Download and install the Plug-in Manager.
- Uninstall the Plug-in Manager.
