To perform an instant update
- Log on to the product console and then click Summaryfrom the menu.
The summary screen appears with the Real-time Statistics tab selected by default.
- Click on the System tab.
- Under Components, verify the version numbers of the antivirus, antispyware, and antispam components that IMSVA uses to protect your network.
- To update all the components, select the first check box on the column header next to the Name field.
If you only want to update specific component(s), tick the check box next to the target component.
- Click Update.
To roll back a component update
- Log on to the product console and then click Summaryfrom the menu.
The Summary screen appears with the Real-time Statistics tab selected by default.
- Click on the System tab.
- To roll back all the components to the previous scan engine version, select the first check box on the column header next to the Name field.
If you only want to roll back specific component(s), tick the checkbox next to the target component.
- Click Rollback.
To configure a scheduled update
- Log on to the product console.
- Go to Administration > Updates > Components.
The Updates screen appears with the Scheduled tab selected by default.
- Tick the Enable Scheduled Update check box.
- Under Update Component, select the components that you want to update.
Note: Trend Micro recommends updating all the components.
- Under Update Schedule, select the update frequency:
- Minute intervals: Updates every { } minutes per hour.
For example, if you select 15, then the update is triggered four times in an hour at 00, 15, 30, 45 minutes.
- Hourly at minute: Updates every hour at { } minutes.
For example, if you select 15, then the update is triggered every after 15 minutes of the hour.
- Daily at time: Updates everyday at the time you selected.
- Weekly at day and time: Updates once a week at the specified day and time.
- Click Save.
