- On the Security Server, go to the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\ folder.
- Copy the entire VSEncrypt directory to any location on the client computer, except on the Security Agent directory. (e.g place the folder on the temp or anywhere)
- On the Security Server, go to the ..\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\Virus folder.
- Copy the encrypted quarantined files, and then paste them into the following directory:
..\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Agent\Suspect\BackupIf the folder is not available, create one and name it as the SUSPECT folder. - Open a command prompt and then go to the file path where you place the copied file from step 2 ..\VSEncrypt directory.
- Type "vsencode -d" and press ENTER.
- On the Security Server, go to the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\ folder.
- Copy the entire VSEncrypt directory to any location on the client computer, except to the Security Agent directory. (e.g place the folder on the temp or anywhere).
- On the Security Server, go to the ..\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\Virus folder.
- Copy the encrypted quarantined files and then paste them into the following directory:
..\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Agent\Suspect\BackupIf the folder is not available, create one and name it as the SUSPECT folder. - Open a command prompt and then go to the file path where you place the copied file from step 2 ..\VSEncrypt directory.
- Type "vsencode /u" and press ENTER.
- Select the file that you want to restore and click Restore. The file will be restored back to its original state.
