Do either of the following:
Export the client settings to a file
- Log on to the Apex One server management console.
- Go to Agents > Agent Management > Settings > Export Settings.
You may click any of the links to view the settings for the clients or domains that you selected.
- Click Export to save the settings. The settings are saved in a *.DAT file.
- Click Save and then specify the location where you want to save the *.DAT file.
- Click Save.
- Close the Export Settings screen.
Import the client settings from a file
- Log on to the Apex One server management console.
- Go to Agents > Agent Management > Settings > Import Settings
You can only import the settings from the same version of the Apex One server.
- Click Browse to locate the *.DAT file on the computer and then click Import. The Import Settings screen will appear showing a summary of the settings.
You may click any of the scan or privilege settings links to view the details of those settings.
- Import the settings:
- If you selected the root icon on the client tree, import the settings by selecting Apply to all domains and then clicking Apply to Target.
- If you selected domains, import the settings by selecting Apply to all computers belonging to the selected domain(s) and then clicking Apply to Target.
- If you selected several clients, import the settings by clicking Apply to Target.
