Do the following:

  1. Open the Registry Editor.
     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Prescheduled Scan Configuration
  3. On the right panel of the registry, double-click Allow Cfg and change the value from "0" to "1".
  4. Click OK.
  5. Close the Registry Editor.
  6. On the client machine, right-click the agent icon on the system tray to open the agent console.
  7. Do the following:
    • For OfficeScan 11.0: Click Settings, then choose Scheduled Scan in the dropdown menu under the Protection tab.

    • For OfficeScan 10.6 or earlier: Click Scan Settings > Scheduled Scan.

You can now modify the settings for the scheduled scan on the client.

Notes:

This only works in OfficeScan 10 if the registry protection is not enabled. If this is the case, the settings can only be changed when booting the machine in safe mode as administrator.

It is also possible to set scan exclusions, CPU usage, scheduled scan frequency.
