WFBS-SVC uses akamai.net to provide global connection for the update servers. Akamai.net provides a different IP for each global location.

To get the static IP:

1. Click Start > Run. 
2. Type "CMD" and press Enter.

3. On the command prompt window, type in the command below and press Enter:

   nslookup wfbs-svc30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com

    

   "wfbs-svc30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com" is the WFBS-SVC update server.

   You will get the static IP for your location.

   

   In the sample screenshot, the highlighted IP addresses are the static IP that akamai.net provides in your location.

    

   Akamai.net may change the IP assigned for a location, so we advise you to check regularly for any changes in order for the agent to continually receive updates.
