To resolve the issue:
- On the affected Normal Server (NS), open the Registry Editor.
Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
- Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\ServerProtect\CurrentVersion and create a new key, "FixedComputerIP" without quotation marks.
- Under FixedComputerIP, create a new sub-key (REG_SZ) and name it "NS hostname".
- Set the sub-key's value to the Normal Server IP address.
MyNormalServer=xxx.xxx.xx.x
Where "xxx.xxx.xx.x" represents the Normal Server IP address - Restart the Trend ServerProtect Service (spntsvc.exe).
