To resolve this:

  1. Go to ...\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\LWCS\ and open the LWCS.ini file.
  2. Add the "socket_family=1" line.

    Example:

    prefix=lwcstest
    connection_timeout=2
    query_timeout=6
    debug_enabled=0
    cache_ttl=30
    socket_family=1

  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Restart the following services:
    • OfficeScan Master Service
    • Apache2 Service
  5. Run an Update Now, Test Connection, and Refresh one after the other on the OfficeScan management console.
