To resolve the error:
- On the Windows 2008 Server, run OfficeScan 10.5 Server and open Server Manager.
- On the left hand pane menu, click Roles > Select Web Server (IIS).
- Find Role Services and select Add Role Services.
- Enable Management Tools (IIS Management Console, IIS Management Scripts and Tools, Management Service).
- Enable IIS 6 Management Compatibility (IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility, IIS WMI Compatibility, IIS 6 Scripting Tools,IIS 6 Management Console).
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Once the services are installed, run the Client Packager utility to create the MSI installer package.
If the issue persists, collect the IIS Logs/CDT Logs and contact Trend Micro Technical Support or your Technical Account Manager.
