Get the Kernel Hook Module (KHM) for your Linux server by:

  1. Identify the appropriate KHM for your Linux server by running the following commands:

    [root@RHEL5-SPLX ~]# uname -a
    Linux RHEL5-SPLX 2.6.18-164.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 18 15:51:48 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    [root@RHEL5-SPLX ~]# cat /etc/*release
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4

     
    Please take note of the output of the above commands on the Linux terminal.
     
  2. Get the KHM by doing any of the following:

    • Go to Trend Micro Download Center, then click on Kernel Support tab to get the appropriate KHM for your Linux server.
    • If the KHM is not available yet, you can build and install the Kernel hook Module by following the instructions from Getting Started Guide of SPLX 3.0
    • Please contact Trend Micro Technical Support and provide the output of the above commands.
