To automate the Thin Agent installation, refer to the following procedure from the vSphere 5 Documentation Center:

Installing or updating VMware Tools requires a reboot of the VMware guest operating system.

In the vCenter Server, go to Inventory > Hosts and Clusters view.
Select the host, cluster, or data center and then click the Virtual Machines tab.
Press CTRL + click or SHIFT + click to select the virtual machines.
Right-click the selected machines and select Guest > Install/Upgrade VMware Tools.
Complete the dialog box.

To install vsepflt.sys, use the following switch:
Setup.exe /S /v"/qn ADDLOCAL=ALL REMOVE=ThinPrint,Hgfs,WYSE"
To specify MSI arguments or VMware Tools components to exclude, add the same arguments and options that you use for the setup.exe program in the Advanced text box.

Summary

When installing VMware Tools on a Windows guest Operating Sysytem (OS), the Thin Agent or vsepflt.sys is not installed by default.

Use this procedure to automatically install vsepflt.sys, which is needed for the Deep Security agentless anti-malware protection to function.
