To enable user-based device management:

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to Administration > General Settings.

  3. Tick the checkbox Enable endpoint labeling and type the Label format.

  4. Go to Security agents.

  5. Click Customize Columns.

  6. Under Security Agent, enable Label and click Apply.

  7. Select the mobile device and set the label name. Click the check button to save the changes.

Limitations

  • Only supports “Web installation”. It does not support mass deployment.(Use downloader to download full package “WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.msi” and install).
  • Owner does not support in user which already has client (change license or magic link) and pre-install (DELL).
  • String limit: 64 bytes

To assign a user on a device make sure that Endpoint Labeling is enabled then perform the following:

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. From the Add Security Agents to dropdown list, select which group you want to add the Security Agent to.

  3. Click Install on this Endpoint to proceed with the installation of the agent.

  4. Type the Label information.

  5. Click Download to proceed with the Web Installation. When the installation is complete, the Label of the device will show beside the device name under Security Agents.
