Do the following:

  1. Login to the Apex One web console.
  2. Go to Administration > Settings > Product License.
  3. In the License Information page, click Specify Activation Code.
  4. Enter the activation code and click Save.
  5. Go back to the License Information page and then click Refresh to update the page with the new license details.

If the issue persists, do the following:

  1. If active, stop the "'Apex One Master Service" and "Apex One Apex Central Agent" (If Apex One is connected to Apex Central).
  2. Create backups of the following files:
    • PCCSRV\ofcscan.ini;
    • PCCRSV\Private\ofcserver.ini.
  3. Open PCCRSV\Private\ofcserver.ini in a text editor and remove the following configuration values:

    From the "INI_SERVICE_MODEL_SECTION" section:

    Everything from the following sections:

    • All "PR_AV*"parameters;
    • "AC_AntiVirus" and "LF_AntiVirus" parameters;
    • All "PR_DCS*" parameters;
    • All parameters under AV_LICENSE_INFO section;
  4. Start the "Apex One Master Service" and "Apex One Apex Central Agent" services.
  5. Log on to the Apex One server administration console;
  6. Open Administration > Settings > Product License and enter all the activation codes.
