Trend Micro recommends to allocate at least 300 GB of disk space to IWSVA in production environments. If you install IWSVA with less disk space allocated, you can use the following procedure to increase the disk space for the /var partition of IWSVA.
- Add another disk to the virtual/physical machine on which IWSVA is installed with the desired disk space. If IWSVA is running in a virtual machine, you can use thin provisioning for this.
- Connect to IWSVA via SSH (e.g. PuTTY) as "root".
- Enter the following command to start CLISH with enabled privileges:
su enable
- Enter the following command to add the hard disk to the OS and extend the IWSVA data partition space.
configure system harddisk
- Type "exit" to quit CLISH.
If adding a disk like this is not feasible for you, please contact Trend Micro Technical Support.
