The error message appears when you attempt to register or activate an RK/AC that is already registered.
If the RK/AC has not been previously registered or activated, contact the Trend Micro Reseller where you purchased the product or the Trend Micro Sales Office to confirm the validity of the provided key.
- For license renewals and the addition of seats to existing licenses, there is no need to register the license in CLP.
- You can also compare your existing license and your renewal details for verification to make sure there are no conflicts with your renewal transaction.
- Login to the Customer Licensing Portal.
- Go to Products/Services tab. On this page, you will see the list of the existing products and services on your account where you can also see the licenses below the product/service name.
- Verify if the the license is the same with the one on your renewal certificate.
- Changes such as updated expiration date, seat count, and status will automatically reflect in the CLP. In cases where changes do not reflect from the CLP, such as newly added seats, you can do any of the following:
- Contact your Trend Micro Reseller to verify and update the needed information on your account.
- If you are unable to contact your reseller, you can contact Trend Micro Technical Support and provide the following information for account verification.
- Entitlement Certificate/ Renewal Certificate
- Activation Code/ License Key
