Summary

When you try to import a C&C IP list to the DDI Custom Detection Deny Lists in Custom Detection > Deny List/Allow List > Import/Export, the following message appears:

File import completed. NOTE: for Deny List type is File, we will limit the first 10000 lines, and limit the first 1000 lines for other types and in the Deny List, only the first 1000 entries are imported.

This is a product specification of DDI. DDI has set limitations for the Deny List and Allow List to ensure that DDI’s performance will not be affected by the Custom Detection Lists.

The limitations of the Custom Detection Lists are:

If the list type is File, the maximum number of list entries is 10000.
If the list types are URL, IP addresses, or Domains, the maximum number of list entries is 1000.

When the number of the entries in the source file exceeds the maximum limit, the remaining entries will not be imported.
