To resolve the issue, make sure that the file or folder you want to upload has no restrictions:

Step 1: Check if the file is marked as "Read-only"

  1. Right-click the file or folder, and then select Properties.
    Select Properties
  2. Make sure Read-only is unticked on the General tab, and then click OK.
    Uncheck Read-only
  3. Try synchronizing the file again.

Step 2: Check the file or folder’s permissions settings

  1. Right-click the file or folder, and then select Properties.
    Click Properties
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Make sure your username has Full Control ticked to allow Trend Micro SafeSync to sync the file.
