To manually set the FQDN of a Security Server:

  1. Stop the Security Server Master Service:
    1. Click Start > Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools and then Services.
    2. Look for Trend Micro Security Server Master Service, right-click on it and select Stop.
  2. Go to ...\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV and modify the file ofcscan.ini to create a name for the new server:
    [INI_SERVER_SECTION]
    Master_DomainName=%New_Hostname%
  3. Recreate the website using the srvdiag tool.
  4. Update the URL on the Security Server shortcut.
  5. Start the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
  6. Migrate agents using IPxFer, if necessary.
