To collect ICAP debug logs for SPFS:

  1. Launch the Case Diagnostic Tool (CDT).

    1. Accept the terms of the license agreement and proceed by clicking Start.
    2. Select “SPFS 6.0” and check the option “ICAP”.

    3. Press Start Debug Mode to turn debug mode on.

    4. Reproduce the issue while debug mode is running.
    5. Press Stop Debug Mode and click Next to collect the log files.

  2. Manually collect the ICAP debug log:
    1. Open the /x64/log.conf configuration file.

    2. Change the debug level from “error” to “debug”, then change the log file path.

    3. Restart the Normal Server (NS) and reproduce the issue.
    4. Collect the log file from the path defined in log.conf file.
  3. Capture the ICAP packets:
    1. Open Wireshark on the machine where the NS is installed, then click Start.

    2. Set the filter condition to use ICAP.

    3. Reproduce the issue then collect the ICAP packets.
