Ransomware Protection aims to protect computers against ransomware variants. To turn it on:

1. Open the WFBS console.
2. Go to Security Settings
3. Select Desktops group and then click Configure Setting.
4. Choose Behavior Monitoring setting and select Enable Behavior Monitoring option.
5. Under Ransomware Protection section, select the following options:
   
   • Enable document protection against unauthorized encryption or modification
   • Auto backup files changed by suspicious programs
   • Enable program inspection to detect and block compromised executable files (not available on server group)
   • Enable blocking of processes commonly associated with ransomware

   

6. Scroll down on the Behavior Monitoring page.
7. Click Save.
