Subject: IPS Resource Affecting Digital Vaccine Installation
Date of Announcement: August 11, 2015
Summary: Due to the recent and expected growth of our new Digital Vaccine filters, some devices may reach a limit while enabling the use of additional filters. Customers running devices with the majority of their filters enabled are likely to encounter this limitation. Customers running the device with security profiles set to the default "Recommended" settings are unlikely to encounter this limitation.
The more filters enabled, the greater the chance of encountering the following error in the system log:
<ERR> [NP] <Br0> npRuleStatTableFind: rule stats array has become full. Cannot allocate space for a new rule

Recommended Action: TippingPoint recommends that customers with S-Series devices (S10, S110, S330) upgrade to TOS v3.6.4 and customers with N-Platform (S660N, S1400N, S2500N, S5100N, S6100N) or NX-Platform (S2600NX, S5200NX, S6200NX, S7100NX, S7500NX) devices upgrade to TOS v3.8.0.
