The root cause of the issue is that when SPNT/SPNAF removes the TMI CMAgent, it replaces MRF-related files, which are also used by TMCM. So if the SPNT/SPNAF TMI CMAgent is installed on the same machine as the TMCM server, MRF-related files will be replaced by the old build. Since there is no compatibility between the old MRF.exe (Build 1.12.0.1156) and TMCM 6.0 Service Pack (SP) 3, the TMI service will not be able to start.
This is a limitation of the TMI design that cannot be avoided. If you encounter this issue, please resolve it by replacing the MRF-related files under \Trend Micro\COMMON\TMI\is_backup\filegroup100.
