The VC++ 2005 library is needed in the Windows server when installing the MCP CMAgent.
To resolve the issue.
Download the related library from the Microsoft Download Center:
Reinstall the MCP CMAgent install package.
Install package directory: ..\Trend\SProtect\SMS\CMAgent
ServerProtect for Microsoft Windows/Novell NetWare 5.8 , ServerProtect For Storage 6.0 , ServerProtect for Network Appliance Filer 5.8
MCP CMAgent fails during installation. This may be caused by missing runtime library in the windows server. Below are the issues:
After installing the MCP CMAgent successfully, when opening the MC, the Registration Status shows "Control Manager agent not installed".
During MCP CMAgent installation, an error message appears saying \"DLL loading unsuccessful\". This means that it is missing some DLL library.
