The following are hot fixes and patches included in EAC 2.0 SP1:

Critical Patch 1191

Issue: The Acdriver.sys and Acdriverhelper.sys modules of EAC 2.0 trigger blue screen of death (BSOD) on the Windows 10 TH2 platform when the Code Integrity checking feature is enabled.

Solution: This critical patch upgrades the EAC driver modules to prevent the BSOD issue while the Code Integrity checking feature is enabled.

Issue: An issue prevents EAC 2.0 from displaying the required information on Windows 10 TH2 logs.

Solution: This critical patch adds the compatible jquery binaries and updates the HTML files to ensure that EAC 2.0 displays complete and accurate information on Windows 10 TH2 logs.

Hotfix 1196

Issue: EAC agents cannot recognize the "Created" and "Modified" timestamps of files if the timestamps are for dates before the year 1970 and after 2019.

Solution: This hot fix enables EAC agents to automatically set the timestamp to January 1, 1970 for values before the year 1970 and to recognize timestamps after 2019.

Issue: EAC agents do not support multi-line command line options.

Solution: This hot fix enables EAC agents to display multi-line commands in a single line.

Hotfix 1205

Issue: Users cannot check the license information of the EAC OfficeScan plug-in online.

Solution: This hot fix upgrades the ""product_license.htm"" file to ensure that the accurate license information can be displayed on the EAC OfficeScan plug-in console.

Hotfix 1208

Issue: After installing the EAC 2.0 agent program, computers receive the following notification about "AcAgentUi.exe" from Windows Interactive Services Detection: "A program running on this computer is trying to display a message".

Solution: This hot fix updates "AcAgentSerivces.exe" to resolve the issue.

Hotfix 1209

Issue: When a client matches a lockdown policy on the EAC server console, the client automatically triggers an inventory scan. If users restart the client computer while the agent is running the scan, the AcAgent will not be able to start successfully after the client restarts.

Solution: This hotfix updates "AcAgentSerivces.exe" to resolve the issue.

Patch 2 Build 1219

Issue: CPU usage may surge on an agent endpoint when the notification window is opened by right-clicking "About" or "Log" from the system tray.

Solution: Apply this patch which contains the updated "AcAgentUI.exe"and "AcAgentUINotifiy.exe" files.

Issue: CPU usage may surge on an agent endpoint when the agent encounters difficulty collecting user process information.

Solution: Apply this patch which contains the updated "AcAgentService.exe" file.

Issue: The agent "acdriver.sys" may not execute on Windows XP Embedded systems because the file name may be converted to upper case and become unidentifiable to the EAC agent.

Solution: Apply this patch which contains the updated ""acdriver.sys"" and ""acdriverhelper.sys"" files.

Issue: EAC is unable to distinguish agents that are installed on duplicated Windows systems where the universally unique identifier (UUID) remained unchanged after the duplication.

Solution: Apply this patch which conatins the updated installer "AcAgentSetup_x64"and "AcAgentSetup_x86", available in both the exe and msi format, and modify the endpoint UUID value using the command-line interface.

Patch 3 Build 1224

Issue: There are updates that can help improve the EAC 2.0 agent inventory scan performance.

Solution: This patch applies these updates to enable EAC 2.0 to switch low input/output (IO) priority during inventory scans and adds the system folder to the AcAgent's approved list.

Issue: The EAC 2.0 agent upload traffic is huge.

Solution: This patch reduces the query traffic and increases the retry waiting time for sending the inventory from the AcAgent.

Patch 1 Build 1170

As an enhancement this patch adds a new health meter in EAC 2.0 servers to monitor the health of applications in your environment. You can collect the health information from this meter after you have installed the agent and before you have configured or deployed a policy to endpoints. This meter comes with five pre-configured templates and gives you the option to create additional customized templates according to the usage and compliance thresholds of your network.

Hotfix 1196

Issue: After a fresh installation of EAC 2.0 Server or migration from version 1.0 to 2.0 the EAC widget on the dashboard does not display any information.

Solution: This hot fix upgrades the "tmeac.war" file to ensure that the widgets on the dashboard display complete and accurate information.

Patch 2 Build 1176

Issue: OfficeScan computer names or Domain Group names with special characters can trigger a 100% CPU usage issue.

Solution: This patch enables the client indexer to handle these information properly to prevent the issue.

Issue: The server does not accept incomplete inventory data.

Solution: This patch makes problematic file attributes optional to enable the server to accept all inventories.

Issue: An issue with the connection limit between the server and agents may trigger the console to stop responding.

Solution: This patch resolves the issue by increasing the maximum number of parallel connections from 128 to 1024.

Issue: Agent connections may create extra CPU load in an Apache server environment when HTTPS is enabled.

Solution: This patch removes problematic GCM cipher suites in the Apache configuration to resolve the issue.

Patch 3 Build 1180
