Symptom
When this issue occurs, the user will encounter Error 577 while trying to launch the OfficeScan NT Listener service on affected platforms.
Trend Micro has corrected this package on December 14, 2016.
Steps
- For customers who have not yet applied OSCE 11.0 SP1 Patch 1 before, please download the updated package from the Download Center:

- For customers who have applied the previous package published on December 1:
- If there is no Vista/2008(non-R2) in managed endpoints, please ignore this fix.
- If endpoints have not yet been deployed to Vista/2008(non-R2), apply Hot Fix Build 6252 (Readme) before further deployment.
- If endpoints of Vista/2008(non-R2) are already affected, apply Hot Fix Build 6252 (Readme) on the OSCE server and then execute the “AutoPcc.exe –f” command on affected endpoints to force it to download.
