If reinstalling the server patch still results in PLM failing, a fresh installation of the server is highly recommended:

  1. Back up the configuration and database. Refer to the following article: Files to back up before upgrading, migrating, or uninstalling the OfficeScan server.
  2. Uninstall the OSCE server: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall Trend Micro OfficeScan Agent and Trend Micro OfficeScan.

    If the OSCE server cannot be uninstalled, refer to the following link to manually uninstall the OSCE server: Manually uninstalling the OfficeScan (OSCE) server.

  3. Do a fresh installation of the OSCE server with the database and configuration you previously backed up.
