To manually update patterns:
- Open the OfficeScan server's web console to check the Integrated Smart Protection Server ActiveUpdate source via the following menu path: Web console > Administration > Smart Protection > Integrated Server.
The ActiveUpdate source can be found at the bottom of the page.
- Open a browser to download TBL and CRCZ.ptn:
- Open server.ini from the ActiveUpdate server: {ActiveUpdate Server URL}/server.ini.
e.g. https://osce12-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/server.ini
- Search for E.48040107 and E.48040108 and take note of the pattern path.
e.g. P.48040107=pattern/icrc$tbl.zip,xxxxxx,xxxxxxxx and P.48040108=pattern/crcz_{version}.zip,xxxxxxxxx,xxxxxxxx
- Download these two patterns with the path described in server.ini.
e.g. https://osce12-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/pattern/icrc$tbl.zip and https://osce12-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/pattern/crcz_{version}.zip
- Open server.ini from the ActiveUpdate server: {ActiveUpdate Server URL}/server.ini.
- Extract the downloaded patterns in previous steps to the following path:
{OfficeScan Server installation path}\PCCSRV\WSS\activeupdate\tmp
Manually create the tmp folder if it does not exist. - Open a command prompt and switch to the following path:
{OfficeScan Server installation path}\PCCSRV\WSS\
- Execute the following command:
AU_FRS.exe --servimporttbl
