The following are the average bandwidth consumption of AC agents:

  • Idle bandwidth per endpoint is 250Kb per day.
  • Upload: For every 1,000 hash new/change or log files is >~2Mb.
  • Download: For every 1,000 hash new/change of policy or rules is >~19.5Kb
 
Actual bandwidth consumption is higher depending on whether policies apply per-user/per-endpoint, rule updates, inventory changes, log configuration and how often all of this happens. If the connection is unstable the bandwidth consumption can be increased due to retries.
