Perform the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the error:

  1. On the OSCE server, re-pack newp*.zip:
    1. Stop OfficeScan Master Service.
    2. On the OSCE server, rename "newp*.zip" to "newp*.zip.bak" in ..\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Download.
    3. Open cmd.exe as Administrator and navigate to PCCSRV\Web\Service\.
    4. Type the command: "ofchotfix.exe 2 -1" and wait for ofchotfix.exe to execute completely.
    5. Type the command: "ofchotfix.exe 6 -1" and wait for ofchotfix.exe to execute completely.
    6. Start OfficeScan Master Service.
  2. Manually remove the OSCE agent from the computer where remote installation failed.
  3. Re-do the remote installation on that machine.
