Note: With exception of HTTP (8), each service supports up to 16 additional ports.
 
 
TippingPoint does not recommend the configuration of user-defined, nonstandard ports. Enabling non-standard ports may have a detrimental effect on the performance of the device.
 

Procedure:

TPS: Add a Port

  1. From the LSM menu, click Policy > Objects > Services.
  2. On the Services page, double-click on the protocol you wish to modify.
  3. On the Edit Service page, enter a Port Number and press Add.
  4. Click OK.

 

TPS: Delete a Port

Note: You can only delete custom port configurations. You cannot delete any of the default port configurations configured on the TPS device. You can only delete one port at a time.

  1. From the LSM menu, click Policy > Objects > Services.
  2. On the Services page, double-click on the protocol you wish to modify.
  3. Locate the Port you wish to delete and click on the Circle-X to the right of the entry.
  4. Click OK.
