Web Reputation

SMD leverages Trend Micro Web Reputation Services to scan URLs contained in email bodies and attachments to detect malicious URLs based on their reputation scores.

To use this feature, you must have both Trend Micro Smart Protection Network and Web Reputation enabled.

Disabling Web Reputation prevents the transmission of mentioned data to Trend Micro Smart Protection Network but severely impacts the ability of SMD to detect malicious URLs.
