Summary
Deep Security users may receive an email notification from AWS regarding the Lambda function that is configured to use Node.js version 4.3. The email contains the following subject:
AWS Lambda: Node.js v4.x is now EOL, please migrate your functions to a newer runtime version
Node.js version 4.3 is no longer supported as per AWS Lambda runtime support policy. Based on the email, it is recommended to upgrade the Lambda function runtime to version 8.10.
This article explains the AWS Lambda function and its connection to Deep Security.
The AWS Lambda is created as part of the fast wizard in Deep Security as a Service. It was intended to create a connector, but it is no longer used in the current operations of our product.
Therefore, it can be deleted as well as the entire cloudformation stack used to deploy it.
