To resolve the issue:
- On the Apex One web console, go to Agents > Agent Management.
- Search for the hostnames of the affected machine.
- Right-click the machine and select Settings.
- Click Trusted Program List.
- Add the following executables one by one:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQ.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQProtect.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Tencent\QQ\Bin\QQScLauncher.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQ.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQProtect.exe
C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQ\Bin\QQScLauncher.exe - Click Save.
- Manually update the security agent on the affected machine.
- Reboot the machine.
- Verify that the QQ.exe is now working properly.
