When this issue occurs, the DSM may be in a problem state and will require repair.

 
Before proceeding, please ensure you have a backup of the database processed.

Follow these steps:

  1. Re-download the DSM from the Deep Security Help Center.
  2. Run the installer and choose Repair the existing installation.
    Please make sure there are no windows open for DSM installation folder such as c:\program file\Trend Micro\Deep Security Manager\ to prevent repair failure.
  3. Once the repair is finished, re-activate agent.
