For all users who will perform Mac agent installation, regardless of the macOS version, download and extract the ZIP file to obtain the full Security Agent installer package. Ensure that the "WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.pkg" and "Identifier.plist" files are in the same folder before proceeding with the installation. For the additional instructions and other installation methods, refer to the article on WFBSS 6.7 Server Help: Security Agent Installation Methods.

When performing a mass deployment, place a copy of the .plist file (Identifier.plist) in /var/tmp/TrendMicro on the target endpoints. For more information, refer to the KB article, Mac Mass Deployment in Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC).

Full Disk Access which was introduced in macOS 10.14 Mojave is a new privacy control feature that prevents, by default, access to some of the user’s application data like Mail, Messages, Photos and Safari. This feature can cause compatibility issues with WFBS-SVC Agent including, but not limited to, crashing and hanging. Since Apple does not have an API that can automatically add the WFBS-SVC APP to Full Disk Access white list, users can manually add the program’s APP into the white list by following the steps from the KB article, Preventing compatibility issues in macOS Mojave (10.14) with WFBS-SVC.
