The issue happens because Deep Security Agent does not officially support Gluster Filesystem (GlusterFS).

As a workaround, add the GlusterFS to exclusions.

  1. On the Deep Security Manager (DSM) console, go to the security profile or policy assigned to the machine.
  2. Go to Anti-Malware > Real-Time Scan.
  3. Click the Exclusions tab.
  4. Under Process Image File List, click Create New or Edit the existing exclusions.
  5. Add the following entries:

    /usr/sbin/glusterfs
    /usr/sbin/glusterfsd

  6. Save the changes.
