For Windows Platform

1. Insert Trend Micro Portable Security 3 on USB slot.
2. Navigate to TMPS3 SYS (X:).
3. Run Launcher.exe to run the Portable Security 3 Scanning Tool.

   

4. Click Edit to change Scan Settings.

   

5. Click Save, then click Scan Now to start the scan.

   

6. Below are the results after the scan:

   

7. Click Advanced to see more details.

   

8. To restore scanned files, go to Restore Tab > Select a file, the click Restore.

   

9. The file should then be successfully restored.

   

For Linux Platform

1. Insert Trend Micro Portable Security 3 on USB slot.
2. Navigate to the USB directory (TMPS3 SYS). The working directory and its contents should look like the following:

   

3. To check help details, use the following command:

   $ sudo ./LauncherLinux.bat -h

4. The result will be the following:

   

5. To run a scan, use the following command format:

   $ sudo ./LauncherLinux.bat -c scan -a recommended /scan_location

   Note that this command will automatically perform a recursive scan, meaning it will scan subfolders indicated on your scan_location.
