Summary
Users cannot register Apex One successfully to Apex Central using certificate. Apex One registration to Apex Central fails with error message:
"Unable to register to Apex Central. The specified Apex Central certificate file is not valid. Specify a valid Apex Central certificate file and try again."
To address the issue:
- On the Apex One server, stop the Apex One Apex Central Agent service.
- Open ..\Trend Micro\Apex One\PCCSRV\CmAgent\Agent.ini using text editor.
- Modify the following keys as follows:
SSL_Enable = 1
SSL_Cipher_List = TLSv1.2 - Save the changes.
- Start the Apex One Apex Central Agent service.
- Retry to register Apex One to Apex Central.
In case you're using a company certificate in Apex Central, use it then rename the file as TMCM_CA_Cert.pem.
