To address the issue:

  1. On the Apex One server, stop the Apex One Apex Central Agent service. 
  2. Open ..\Trend Micro\Apex One\PCCSRV\CmAgent\Agent.ini using text editor.
  3. Modify the following keys as follows:
        SSL_Enable = 1
        SSL_Cipher_List = TLSv1.2
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Start the Apex One Apex Central Agent service.
  6. Retry to register Apex One to Apex Central.
 
In case you're using a company certificate in Apex Central, use it then rename the file as TMCM_CA_Cert.pem.
