Check the versions of the server side and agent side:

  • Agent Path:

    \Trend Micro\Security Agent\hotfix_history.ini

    Or check the registry key "BuildNum" in:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.(64-bit)
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.(32-bit)

  • Server Path:

    \PCCSRV\Admin\hotfix_history.ini

  1. Update depending on the version:
    • If the versions are different, please Update Now.
    • If the versions are the same:
      1. Copy the tmtouch tool from the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\Touch directory to the ..\PCCSRV \Admin folder.
      2. Open Command Prompt and run the following command under ..\PCCSRV \Admin> directory:

        tmtouch hotfix_history.ini

  2. Go the folder ..\PCCSRV\Download.
  3. Check the timestamps of hotfixNT.txt, hotfixNT_X64.txt, and the value of HotFix in the file.
  4. Do the Update Now.
  1. Collect the CDT Log on both the server and the agent sides.
  2. Collect the following files:
    • Server side: ..\PCCSRV\Download\hotfixNT.txt; ..\PCCSRV\Download\hotfixNT_X64.txt
    • Agent side: ..\Trend Micro\Security Agent\Hotfix.dat
