To fix this issue, please make sure to use the latest Kernel Support Package (minimum KSP version 20.0.0-1278)

 

For Agents in Deep Security Managers hosted in AWS/Azure/On-premise

  1. Login to Deep Security Manager Console

  2. Click Administration

  3. Click Software and click “Check for updates

  4. Click Download Center

  5. Find latest KSPs
    [Oracle 6] KernelSupport-Oracle_OL6-20.0.0-1278.x86_64.zip

    [Oracle 7] KernelSupport-Oracle_OL7-20.0.0-1279.x86_64.zip

  6. Click “IMPORT NOW

  7. Uninstall an agent (Linux)

  8. Deploying Deep Security Agent (DSA) for Linux

  9. Remove the following KSPs under Administration>Software>Local:

    [Oracle 6] KernelSupport-Oracle_OL6-20.0.0-1268.x86_64.zip

    [Oracle 7] KernelSupport-Oracle_OL7-20.0.0-1267.x86_64.zip

 

For Agents hosted in Cloud One - Workload Security

The new KSP is available in Cloud One - Workload Security and the KSP with issues has been removed, users can proceed with the uninstallation and reinstallation of the Deep Security agent.
